Non-Fic Letter
I don’t always request non-fic in exchanges, but I wrote this up so I’ll remember what to request when I do.
Art
Mediums in Need of Music (AMV's, animatics, etc.)
My favorite genres are indie, rock, and cinematic, but I’m also a fan of vintage covers of modern songs (artist examples include Postmodern Jukebox and Robyn Adele Anderson, but also Hildegard von Blingin' for something even older). The top ten songs on my 2023 Spotify Wrapped were:
TTRPG Supplements
I am most familiar with Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (specifically the 2014 version), but I have played Labyrinth Lord, AD&D 2nd edition, Stars Without Number 1st Edition, several hacks of Lasers & Feelings, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and MASKS: A New Generation. I haven’t played but am at least somewhat familiar with the rules to the following TTRPG’s:
Other Mediums
I don't have enough info for these mediums to give them their own sections, but they're not commonly found in exchanges and I'd love them as treats.
Art
- My favorite color is purple, so if it makes sense to incorporate this color then please do.
- Feel free to illustrate or make a cover to any of my fics! Do note that any art DNW’s I have still apply even if I wrote a scene with something on my DNW list (example: I have written gore, but still don’t want to see drawn gore). On a similar note, feel free to redraw my art in your style.
- I like gemstones, so if you can add a gemstone motif in there I’d appreciate it. Maybe the scene is set in a cave full of crystals, or maybe if a character canonically wears jewelry you could do a closeup of that?
- I’m a space girlie, so galaxy print is my jam. If you need inspiration, the first two pictures on the Wikipedia page for neutron stars are amazing, but I don’t want technical diagrams in an art gift/treat (exception: I prompted for worldbuilding). Likewise, most James Webb Space Telescope images are great if they’re of space instead of the telescope itself.
- For femslash ships (especially those of the toxic yuri, butch/femme, and ships involving canonical swordswomen variety), I would love to see nearly any Utena/Anthy scene from Revolutionary Girl Utena redrawn with the requested F/F ship. (Exceptions: the RGU or Adolescence scenes involving nudity or car!Utena)
- Glowing eyes are so fun! In addition to a regular uniform eye glow, I also like the eye glow that the maidens and silver eyed warriors get in the show RWBY, where it’s streaming from their eyes.
- If the character has a distinctive hairstyle, prop, or accessory, I’d love to see a redesign of the character as either a cat or a guinea pig.
- Make the artwork glitch out to show that something's wrong with a character! I love glitching GIF's so much.
- On a similar note, shattered glass to show something wrong, in which there are 2 or more versions of the image interposed on each other through the glass, such as:
- There are multiple appearances for a character, and those appearances all show up in the glass in different fragments.
- A grieving character is hugging a dead character, but in some of the fragments the character is hugging empty air or themself instead of the dead character.
- Paper dolls! I loved playing with paper dolls as a kid and would often trace the doll to make my own new dolls and/or outfits to play with.
- Flowing ballgowns and long skirts, especially if the character is drawn mid-twirl and the skirt is in motion and floating around her.
- Billowing capes and trenchcoats – it’s about the drama.
- Long hair blowing in the wind, but in a cool way, not in a “agh my hair’s in my eyes and face” way
- Historically accurate fashion (or women wearing historically accurate men’s fashion – butch ladies can have otherwise-historically-accurate crossdressing as a treat).
- Dapper suits – I like women in any color suit, but I prefer men in colorful suits instead of boring beige/gray/black/navy blue suits unless the character is associated with one of those colors or unless you spruce it up somehow (like adding a cape). I think I’m just too used to seeing men in boring suits. I also prefer neckties to bow ties.

Other Mediums
I don't have enough info for these mediums to give them their own sections, but they're not commonly found in exchanges and I'd love them as treats.
- If you want to work on your translation skills, feel free to translate any of my fics into German regardless of if there's a "translation welcome" tag or not. I took a couple years of it in high school and am trying to relearn it.
- Poetry! I like poems and would love to see more of them, especially haikus, sonnets, sestinas, and villanelles
- Online dress-up games
- Fake trailers! If canon doesn't have a video format and you don't want to animate, then feel free to steal from whichever video feels appropriate. I just ask that you don't mix art styles too much (90s era Sailor Moon and the OG Tokyo Mew Mew being mixed is okay; 90s era Sailor Moon and a live action show is gonna be off-putting to me)
