After an act of simple kindness, castle guard Caitlyn finds herself embroiled in the centuries-old war between the Spider Queen and the Firefly King.
 
Thank you to whomever it was who wrote this fic for me for this year's Fairy Tale Exchange. I really enjoyed it (and so did a friend I shared the fic with).
